BURST! Hires Director of Marketing

BURST! Media, an ad network for
specialty-content Web publishers, named William “Biff” Burns as director of
marketing.

The position is new and responsibilities include strategic corporate
communications efforts, advertising sales promotion, and communication with
the company’s thousands of specialty content Web publishers and hundreds of
online advertisers.

Burns joins BURST! after 20 years of marketing communications experience at
the Liberty Mutual Group, a diversified international financial services company
with 37,000 employees and $11 billion in consolidated revenue. Most recently,
he served as vice president of communication services.

BURST! Media LLC operates a network of 2,800 member Web publishers, and
serves nearly 600 million advertising impressions per month in more than 400
purchase categories.
