Several major brands have signed up to use DoubleClick’s SiteAdvance analytics product. They include Buy.com, Carrot Ink, Dixons Group and Verio. Additionally, Crate and Barrel, Flax Art & Design and J. Jill have recently renewed their contracts. In the past two quarters, 25 installations of SiteAdvance were completed, the ad technology company said.
SiteAdvance is now fully integrated with DoubleClick’s DARTmail and DART for Advertisers services, allowing combined view of marketing and sales data. Merchants can now automatically retarget customers who have abandoned a shopping cart with a tailored creative based on the customer’s onsite behavior.
“SiteAdvance has allowed us to respond more quickly to out-of-stock issues and configure product bundles to meet customer demand,” said Steve Borges, director of advertising for Dixons Group. “In addition, it has helped us to improve the functionality of our search tool and guided our web development strategy.”
PointRoll has named Jeff Lyons vice president of sales and hired two additional sales managers to augment its new business efforts.
Lyons has held sales management posts at Ceridian Corporation and PowerPay.com. He will be based in the company’s Ft. Washington, Pa. headquarters.
William Condon joins as a sales manager after having done business with PointRoll on behalf of British Airways for i-traffic in London. Most recently, Condon was an account manager for NetCreations in its New York office. He will manage mid-Atlantic, South and Southeast sales from PointRoll’s Ft. Washington headquarters.
New mid-Atlantic and North sales manager Dan Shapiro will also work from Ft. Washington. He joins from Marketing 180.
Fleetwood Enterprises, a seller of recreational vehicles and manufactured housing, has made Draft Chicago its agency of record. Effective immediately, Draft will begin developing an integrated marketing program that includes strategic branding, direct marketing, CRM and Web design.
