Flycast Names Vice President Of Marketing

Web ad network Flycast Communications Corp. named Lyn Chitow Oakes as vice president of marketing.

Oakes is responsible for managing the marketing and product strategy and
direction
of the company. Oakes brings 12 years of marketing experience, including a
stint at Electric Classifieds Inc. and seven years at America Online, where
she spearheaded initiatives in marketing, product marketing, corporate
development and content/community programming.

In her last role with AOL as vice president of Internet and community
services, Oakes defined and managed the company’s Internet and community
programming strategy.

Oakes said Flycast “has become one of the most important players in Web
advertising
and, as we move forward with a clear and targeted marketing strategy, Flycast
will no longer be the best-kept secret in the industry.”
