ClickAction Inc. announced Friday that it has struck a deal with direct marketing giant
Grey Direct ,
giving Grey access to ClickAction’s e-mail marketing services.

The deal means that Grey Direct, Grey Direct e.Marketing, an internal group
that specializes in electronic marketing, and Grey E.Mail, a Grey group that
specializes in e-mail based marketing campaigns, can begin to offer
ClickAction’s Email Relationship Management (ERM) services to their clients.

“ClickAction has a superior email marketing solution and a sales and client
services team that we trust,” said Steve Carbone, president of Grey Direct
e.Marketing.

“With an increasing number of clients shifting direct marketing dollars to
online initiatives, it is imperative that we align ourselves with a
top-notch electronic marketing provider,” Carbone said.

ClickAction, which has provided services for Brooks Brothers, Nabisco,
Adforce/CMGI, and Dean and Deluca, said that its permission-based e-mail
services are a natural complement to Grey Direct’s existing portfolio of
direct marketing and e-commerce services.

“They are experts at direct marketing and are sure to be successful at
weaving creative e-mail marketing techniques into their clients’ revenue,
brand-building and customer retention initiatives,” said Joe Cortale,
executive vice president of worldwide sales for ClickAction.
