New York City-based K2 Design Inc.
has been named interactive
agency of record for the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau.

Other finalists in the three-month review were iXL, I-Sites, Mediawire,
Olympus Group, Vicom and De La Cruz. Billings were not disclosed.

As part of its relationship with PRCB, K2 Design will create a new PRCB Web
site and also develop an online marketing and advertising program.

Working with PRCB officials, K2 will create an online marketing and
advertising program to help PRCB meet its goal–to be the consummate
resource for meeting planning professionals and to demonstrate how Puerto Rico
is one of the top destinations for conventions, conferences and group events.

“The team at K2 Design demonstrated superiority in understanding our business
and then showing how the Web strategically and tactically can help us meet our
goals,” said Felix Laboy, PRCB executive vice president. “Their vision of a
dynamic meeting planner will help bring to reality what the PRCB is all
about.”

The Puerto Rico Convention Bureau is a non-profit organization established in
1962 to drive meetings, conventions, trade shows and incentive groups to
Puerto Rico.
