Opt-in e-mail company NetCreations Inc. marketing, has added
Fashionmall.com, Asian Avenue and eight other Web sites to its
PostMasterDirect.com Internet advertising network.
FashionMall.com is a portal selling
clothing and accessories from major brands. It will integrate the
NetCreations signup form on its post-purchase confirmation form as well as on
the signup form to join Fashionmall.com’s own e-mail customer list.
Asian Avenue is an Asian-American
community site with more than 360,000 registered users. It will integrate the
NetCreations sign up form into its member registration form.
NetCreations’ other new partner sites are Friendly Email, a free e-mail service
with more than 40 specialized domains; Galore, a search engine with 28 categories
of interest; Guestbook.nu, a provider of free
guestbooks that
webmasters can add to their sites; BlackPlanet.com, an African American
community site that will be launched by Community Connect; FriendFinder, a provider of online
personals with
over 4.5 million members; Site Meter, a resource to help webmasters
track their traffic; eFun.net, a site offering sweepstakes for
computers,
electronics and other consumer products, and Slambook, which provides tools to help
webmasters learn more about visitors to their sites.
NetCreations will store the sites’ opt-in e-mail addresses in its Oracle
database, provide e-mail delivery and merge/purge services, and offer the
lists for rental through its PostMasterDirect.com online
marketplace. The e-mail lists will initially rent for 10 to 25 cents a name.
