New York City-based NetCreations Inc., an opt-in e-mail
marketing company, added NetZero and five other high-traffic Web sites to its
Internet advertising network, bringing its total to 159 partner sites.

NetZero, an ad-backed provider of free
Internet access, will integrate the NetCreations sign-up form with its own
registration form to enable sign-ups for relevant opt-in e-mail lists. This
process will be managed by NetCreations’ PostMasterDirect.com opt-in e-mail
marketing service.

The NetZero e-mail addresses will be made available only to marketers who send
out offers for products and services specifically requested by NetZero
subscribers when they register to join the site’s targeted e-mail lists.

Subscribers can “opt out,” or remove themselves from these lists at any time.
NetCreations’ other new partner sites are TST/Impreso Inc.’s HotSheet.com, a single-page Internet
directory; Z Media Inc., a destination offering free
subscriptions to e-mail newsletters; Khera Communications’ MoreBusiness.com, a resource for
entrepreneurs and small business owners; InfiniSource Inc., home of the
Windows-Help.NET shareware and information resource center; and Worldly
Information Network Inc.’s Worldlyinvestor.com, an online
investor community.

“The marketplace has been clamoring for more and more high-quality opt-in
e-mail lists,” NetCreations President Rosalind Resnick said. “By working
together with our new partners, we hope to be able to offer consumer and
business marketers the ability to target a wide variety of Internet users on
a one-to-one basis in a responsive and Net-friendly way.”

NetCreations will store the sites’ opt-in e-mail addresses in its Web
database, provide e-mail delivery and merge/purge services, and offer the
lists for rental for 20 to 25 cents a name.
