Netscape Communications Corp. and TMP Interactive Inc. a division of TMP Worldwide, signed a strategic agreement to launch Netcenter Career Center, a
career-building and recruitment resource, on the Netscape Netcenter portal site.

Through the exclusive agreement, The Monster Board and Online Career Center (OCC) will provide
Netcenter’s visitors with access to a database of job listings and company
information from leading national and international employers. Financial terms
of the agreement were not disclosed.

Netcenter Career Center expands the services already available through
Netscape’s Business channel, including the new Small Business Source and
Netscape Business Journal by NewsEdge.

“Today’s announcement marks another landmark in our aggressive ‘Project 60’
plan to turn Netcenter into the destination of choice for business and
consumer users,” said Mike Homer, executive vice president and general manager
of Netscape’s Netcenter division. “By leveraging The Monster Board and Online
Career Center, Netcenter Career Center will provide the millions of visitors
to Netscape’s Netcenter portal site with the most comprehensive career and
recruitment resource available on the Web.”

“The agreement with Netscape represents a significant step in our strategic
plan to make The Monster Board and OCC the best places to recruit and look for
jobs on the Internet,” said Andrew J. McKelvey, chairman and CEO of TMP
Worldwide.

Netcenter Career Center will also be integrated with Netscape Business
Journal, Netscape Professional Connections and Netscape Small Business Source
services.

Currently, 34,000 companies, including more than 55 of the Fortune 100, use
TMP’s Web sites as their Internet recruiting solutions. Netcenter Career
Center will offer job seekers free access to a growing list of technical and
non-technical jobs in more than 200 categories including finance, sales and
marketing, and health care.

In addition to more than 183,000 job ads, Netcenter
users will have access to personal job search agents that deliver
opportunities to job seekers’ desktops even when they are off-line; resume-
building and posting capabilities; company profiles; and advice on managing a
career.

TMP says it is “the 16th largest advertising organization in the world, the
largest yellow page advertising agency and one of the world’s largest
recruitment advertising agencies.”
