San Francisco-based online business builder Organic said it will offer public relations
and marketing communications services through a new business unit, Organic
Communications.

The new public relations and enhanced online communications arm completes
Organic’s integrated service offering, which includes strategic and research
services, e-commerce services, interactive design, production, media planning
and buying, and online advertising development, the company said.

The new business unit consists of advantedge communications and its two
partners, Nicole DeMeo Overson, and Anne Stendel Thomas, who now become vice
president, managing director and general manager of Organic Communications,
respectively.

“By expanding our offering to include strategic marketing communications and public relations counsel, we
are further helping our clients create solid and successful online ventures,” said Michael Hudes, president of Organic.

DeMeo Overson and Stendel Thomas have over 25 years of combined public
relations and marketing experience with over five years spent launching
Internet-to-consumer businesses. Their clients have included NeXT’s
WebObjects, Wells Fargo Bank online banking, Autonomy’s Personalized Agent
Software, Inktomi’s Traffic Server, When.com and Centraal’s RealNames service,
among others.
