New York City-based Internet ad network and technology company Real Media said it has made three hires
that add strength and experience to its sales management staff.

Craig R. Altman, 35, joins Real Media in the newly created position of
director of sales – Western region, overseeing the company’s six-person San
Francisco-based sales team.

Bret Hennington, 38, was named national account manager, a newly created
position also based in San Francisco.

Joseph G. Gallagher, 35, joins Real Media in the new position of national
account manager – Eastern region, based in Real Media’s New York headquarters.

Altman had been associate publisher for Web Techniques magazine and
webreview.com in San Francisco. Before that, he was advertising director on
Visual Basic Programmer’s Journal.

From April of 1997 through March of 1999 Hennington was a part of Microsoft’s
online city guide and yellow pages sales effort with Sidewalk.com in Boston,
Houston and Washington, DC. He has also worked for CBS Radio, Group W
Broadcasting and Shamrock Broadcasting.

Gallagher began his career in 1987 with Media General Cable selling cable TV
and print advertising for Cable Edition magazine. In 1990, he joined
TravelMedia Group as director of advertising for In Paradise magazine, the
in-flight magazine for Hawaiian Airlines. Most recently he was senior sports
marketing executive for CBS Radio/The Washington Redskins Radio Network.

Real Media Inc., operates a network of more than 600 locally branded Web
sites (mostly newspapers) and markets its Open AdStream (OAS) ad server
product.
