Online advertising ASP Solbright Inc.
on Wednesday lined up a powerful partner, Engage Inc.‘s technology division, in its
bid to spur adoption of its AdSuite product by Web publishers.

The deal calls for Engage Enabling Technologies to incorporate AdSuite —
which has trafficking, sales, and billing functions — into its AdManager
product. Engage will offer its customers the bundled
solution, and Solbright will do the same.

The idea is that the two products together come closer to offering
publishers an end-to-end solution, with AdSuite handling the trafficking,
sales, and billing, and AdManager automating the scheduling, targeting,
delivery, and reporting.

The partnership is a big boon to Solbright, which will likely benefit from
tapping into Engage’s larger customer base. In addition, it gives the
smaller company more credibility as it goes after customers on its own.
