USWeb Names Senior Creative Director in NY Office

USWeb Corp. named Mark Silber as partner and
senior creative director in its New York office, overseeing all creative
components of client engagements and managing regional creative personnel.


Silber was formerly vice president, executive creative director at Grey
Interactive.


“Mark brings with him a solid creative vision and respected strengths in
Internet marketing and creative strategy and management,” said Hugh Osborn,
partner and executive producer. “His experience in branding and marketing,
with many of the world’s largest and most successful marketers, will bring
USWeb clients an unrivalled talent to the front-end of their Internet
solution.”


While at Grey Interactive, Silber’s responsibilities included strategic
consulting, concept development, design, and execution of Web sites and online
advertising campaigns. He worked with clients such as Dell Computer,
Autobytel.com, Procter & Gamble, AT&T, Intel and Chase. Before that, he was at
Lowe & Partners.
