ValueClick Network Supports Audio Banners

Cost-per-click ad network ValueClick said it
now accepts audio banners across the entire network of more than 7,000 Web
sites.


Advertisers can run audio banners in the standard size (468×60), up to a 10k
file. The network supports audio formats from leading broadcasters of
streaming media content such as Broadcast.com, RealNetworks and InterVU.
ValueClick also said it plans to add other multimedia capabilities to its
services soon.


“Our capacity to run audio banners benefits advertisers who are trying to
drive traffic to their sites or build brand identity by using enhanced
creative,” said Brian Coryat, founder and CEO of ValueClick.


ValueClick also began offering advertisers the opportunity to choose from
14-user distinct categories to target their desired audience. The company also
offers VisiTrack, an Internet ad campaign testing service, and AD/VANTAGE, a
sales program that targets Web publishers with expiring inventory.
