[VIDEO] Ethernet Alliance Demos Interopability

In a video interview, the Ethernet Alliance details how the converged Ethernet connection setup works. The demo shows how multiple Ethernet standards, including 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) and 40 GbE and Power over Ethernet (PoE), all work together seamlessly across multiple vendors.

“It’s real technology for real deployment,” John D’Ambrosia, chair of the Ethernet Alliance, said. “It’s here, it exists, and what we’re showing is you can plug it all together and guess what – it actually works, the flashing lights are flashing.”
