DealTime.com Adds New Shopping Categories, Buying Groups

Independent online comparison shopping service DealTime.com added new shopping categories
including Flowers & Gifts, Health & Beauty, Jewelry, Kids & Toys and Office.

The company said it will be adding Pets and Hardware by the end of the month.

The company also signed agreements with Accompany and Zwirl so that DealTime.com users can search
buying group sites in addition to online retailers, classifieds,
person-to-person auctions and large auction sites.

DealTime.com users can monitor new deals and be updated on their desktops,
pagers, e-mail or even cellular phones using the patent-pending DealTime
Notifier.

“This pre-holiday expansion delivers on our mission to create a service that
truly provides the e-convenience long promised by the Internet,” said Dan
Ciporin, CEO of DealTime.com.

DealTime.com merchant and product information includes access to
BizRate’s Merchant Ratings, and soon will
include recommendations on brands and products from Active Research’s
decision-support technology.
