Electronic Software Distribution firm Digital River signed an online distribution partnership with interactive software provider Broderbund Direct, a division of Broderbund Software.
The partnership provides Broderbund Direct with an added channel
for the electronic sale and delivery of its software titles through Digital
River’s online dealer network. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Digital River has more than 250 reseller sites, including Download Warehouse
and Cyberian Outpost.
“Our partnership with Digital River adds a significant increase in the number
of Web sites where consumers and businesses can purchase our electronically
downloadable Broderbund products,” said Jen-Ling Liu, online group manager for
Broderbund Software. “We are excited to have Digital River as a partner in
the electronic download delivery market.”
Broderbund Software develops, publishes and markets a broad
line of interactive software for use in homes, schools and small businesses.
