Engenyous Corp. and Digital River signed an electronic
software delivery (ESD) agreement to sell Engenyous’ foreign language and
encryption security products online.

Separately, Digital River entered an online distribution partnership with NetObjects Inc., developer of a family of
Web site building software tools.

Through the partnership, NetObjects’ site building software is available for
electronic download or overnight delivery through the NetObjects Online Store
via Digital River. Digital River also enhances the NetObjects electronic
software distribution channel by offering access to its network of more than
500 online resellers.

Digital River is managing the sale of NetObjects Fusion and NetObjects
Authoring Server Suite product lines in addition to NetObjects ScriptBuilder
and BeanBuilder.

Under the agreement with Engenyous, Digital River will add Engenyous’ products
to its online database of software publishers and distribute the products
through its online dealer network. Financial terms were not disclosed for
either arrangement.

The new online store will be implemented in a number of different languages–beginning with English, Spanish and Portuguese, and expanding to include French, German and Italian in the future, the companies said.

“A large portion of our target audience speaks languages other than English,” said Clyde Smyth, director of marketing for Engenyous. “Working with Digital
River allows us to develop a store that provides our international customers
with the ability to shop for our software in their own language.”
