PhotoSphere Images introduced a novel and easy method for print, Web, and multimedia designers to order and download images one pic at a time.

Single image ordering provides users with an alternative to waiting for a CD-ROM to arrive by enabling users to search, order, and download images in a matter of minutes.

The new areas on the PhotoSphere Web site include a
Virtual Search Engine connected to a Single Image Ordering area. The Search
and Ordering areas are available 24 hours a day, so images can be downloaded
when users need them most, usually after normal business hours.

With a few clicks of the mouse, users search through PhotoSphere’s library
of thousands of high quality royalty-free stock images. PhotoSphere
specializes in people but also covers skyscrapers, flowers, flags,
mountains, circuit boards, buses, and other subjects.

“Single Images sales are a strategic product developed to create additional
value and demand for our CD-ROM Collections.” said President Allen Haslinger.

Once the user has finished a search and found the needed images, he or she can proceed to PhotoSphere’s Secure Server to process their credit card payment. Within minutes, a confirmation e-mail is sent directly to the user with the URL of a download location.

All PhotoSphere images are shot by professional photographers and are
model-released and royalty-free.
