iCat Corp. announced the launch of the iCat Commerce Online Developer Network, a collection of Internet professionals who offer store-building services and consulting to small and medium sized businesses.
The companies participating in the Developer Network create stores for their
clients using iCat Commerce Online, the Web-based store building software
introduced by iCat earlier this year.
The Developer Network participants are listed in an online directory provided
at www.icat.com. More than 50 service
providers are already participating, including ADI Internet
Solutions, eConsumer, At First Site, Cabrillo East Media and Digital Direct
Marketing.
“While thousands of small businesses have proven that anyone with a browser can create a great store themselves using iCat Commerce Online, we’ve also been hearing from many businesses who would like some assistance setting their store up, scanning graphic images, or entering product information,” said Craig Danuloff, president and CEO of iCat. “The iCat Commerce Online Developer Network provides fast and affordable outsourcing solutions for these businesses, so there are no barriers to opening their electronic storefronts.”
Companies interested in offering e-commerce development services to merchants can apply to be part of the iCat Commerce Online Developer Network at its Web site. No enrollment fee is required for qualified companies.
