MediaX Corp. said it will launch the Rod Stewart Live e-commerce site featuring the rock star’s merchandise next week.

In addition, MediaX said it reached an agreement with Mercury Records to sell “Rod Stewart: The Mercury Anthology” online. MediaX will provide three 30-second sound samples from the album which the user can “stream” through the Web site.

Stewart’s Live World Tour kicked off to a sold-out audience on July 27 in
Cincinnati. After extensively touring the United States, Stewart will tour
Europe, performing in Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany and England.

The Web site was launched on June 2 with a live Web cast of a Rod Stewart
performance.

Founded in 1996, MediaX is a developer and publisher of multimedia educational
and entertainment software, as well as software development tools for 3-D and
interactive online games.
