iPrint.com, IKON Partner to Offer Volume Digital Printing

IKON Office Solutions, a provider of imaging
and digital document products and services, and online print shop iPrint.com signed an agreement to develop
joint online ordering, high volume digital printing and document delivery
offerings.


The companies said they would collaborate on a variety of digital printing
products
and services utilizing online proofing, ordering and routing technology from
iPrint and supported by IKON’s Digital Express 2000 Web-based network of
high-volume digital printing and distribution centers.


Financial arrangements
between the companies were not disclosed.


“This agreement allows iPrint to take advantage of the largest network of
digital production hubs in North America, increasing the range and quality of
services we
can provide to our customers,” said Royal P. Farros, chairman and chief executive officer of
iPrint.com.


Digital Express 2000 is IKON’s Internet-based document repository system that
offers numerous print-on-demand and distributed printing options. Business
users are able to send print jobs from their desktops via the Web for
printing and distribution through IKON’s network of production facilities.


IKON has approximately 900 locations worldwide including the United States,
Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland and Denmark.
