Apple is having a harder and harder time keeping its product pipeline under wraps. The latest leak details new product specs for the next iteration of the MacBook, Apple’s only laptop that retails for less than $1,000.
The leak comes from a familiar source. The same Vietnamese forum that recently posted information about a fourth-generation iPhone prototype is now offering a video and specs on what is described as the next MacBook.
Hardware Central takes a look.
The Vietnamese online forum that last week showed off a new iPhone prototype has struck again, this time obtaining what it claims is the new version of Apple’s MacBook laptop PC.
The video on the Tinhte.com site features a sealed MacBook box. Close-ups display the specifications of the unit, which, if legitimate, indicate a slight bump in performance to current MacBook specs.
The MacBook is Apple’s (NASDAQ: AAPL) only sub-$1,000 notebook. The company upgraded the rest of the MacBook Pro line last month, but didn’t do the same for its entry-level model.
