OfficeMax launched the OfficeMax OnLine Affiliate
Program in which participating sites can develop a new channel of revenue by referring
customers to www.officemax.com.

OfficeMax said that more than 50 charter companies, including Excite,
theglobe.com, iMall and GTE signed on as partners.

The company said its Affiliate Program creates sales opportunities for
thousands of Web sites that provide content and services to the small
business, home office and consumer markets. Affiliates earn an unspecified
commission on every sales transaction generated through links from their site.

“This program displays our continued commitment to providing our customers
additional convenient means of purchasing office products, business machines,
computers, software and office furniture,” said Michael Feuer, OfficeMax’s
chairman and CEO.

Program information is available here.
