Open Market Inc.
released version 4.11 of its Folio Publisher and Folio Views software for
the Macintosh operating system, supporting Mac OS 7.5 and above.

Both Folio Publisher and Folio Views will now be able to run on Microsoft
Windows and Macintosh platforms, the company explained.

“This release is an important step in satisfying the needs of all
professional information users, regardless of the operating system they
choose,” said Ellen Brezniak, vice president of marketing for Open Market
Folio products. “Many of our commercial publishers have a devoted following
of Macintosh users who need the
same information access technology we provide to PC users.”

Folio software works to enable the secure distribution of professional
information in electronic format, with rich searching, navigation and
personalization capabilities. The Open Market family of Folio 4 products is

controlling remote access, and metering its use.

Folio Publisher is a redistribution license and software solution for
commercial publishers who need to bundle robust information retrieval
software with their content. Folio Views is a high-end access and retrieval
product designed for professional information users. Its primary use is for
fast, off-

the firm said.
