SpaceWorks Inc., a provider of extranet commerce software, launched the EC Guarantee program, a money-back guarantee for an enterprise-class, electronic ordering solution.

SpaceWorks promises to deploy full-scope implementations of its OrderManager
software–including integration with legacy or ERP systems–in 60 days. If
it fails to do so, SpaceWorks said it will promptly forgive the OrderManager
software license fee and remove its software, or complete the implementation
if the client wishes to proceed, and offer a free, full year of technical support.

The company’s president and chief executive officer, Dave MacSwain, said the
guarantee program is made possible by the company’s proven rapid application
development methodology. SpaceWorks said clients have witnessed savings of up
to 75% on transactions placed through OrderManager compared to traditional central order desk processing.

The OrderManager application is designed to automate the supply chain transactions of FORTUNE 1000 companies over the Web, creating real-time, Internet/extranet-based “self-service” order processing channels between a company’s trading partners and its own back-end enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

The OrderManager software license fee starts at $100,000.
