Sterling Commerce, a provider of business-to-business electronic commerce software and services, launched a new site for its customers.

The Sterling Commerce site, created by Genex Interactive and Pinkhaus Design (spending was not disclosed), establishes a business solutions framework for navigating the world of electronic commerce to help new and existing customers.

“Since launching our original site in early 1996, Sterling Commerce has grown
substantially,” said Kevin Sibbring, director of corporate communications.
“While the
company built its business by delivering solutions to Fortune 500
companies, we currently
support tens of thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises worldwide
that are
new to electronic commerce.

“We feel it is critically important to provide online resources that are
focused on their needs, as well as those of large enterprises. This site
provides education information for a wide range of business-to-business
interests and presents that information in a solutions-oriented hierarchy.”

A comprehensive Products and Services Locator is available from anywhere in
the site to help guide the user to any of more than 100 unique products and
services.

A pop-up glossary is accessible from anywhere on the site and for those who
are interested in the details of electronic data interchange (EDI), e-commerce
or Web commerce implementations at other firms, a section of Customer Success
Stories is categorized by industry.
