Zzap.Net Inc. said it
acquired the assets of Marketers World Inc., a network
marketing company. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The company said it plans “to become a leader in Internet marketing and e-commerce” using a direct marketing strategy.
Michael Cimino, Zzap.net president, said the company uses its own internally
owned and operated, plus outsourced telemarketing and direct mail firms, to
complement its Internet product and service offerings. The company currently
operates a virtual mall on the Internet, which can be accessed at www.vr-mall.com and also has an Internet
yellow pages operation at www.ndiyp.com.
The company said it is exploring further acquisitions to complement its
business growth and anticipates profits in the fourth quarter.
