VMware is continuing to expand its virtualization and cloud solutions with a series of new product releases announced today at the company’s VMworld Europe event.

On the end-user computing side, VMware announced the acquisition of Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) vendor Desktone. Financial terms of the deal have not been publicly disclosed.
