Merlin Technologies today announced that it has appointed Barry Hagglund as Vice President, Engineering.
Merlin is the developer of EssentialServer(TM) network attached storage (NAS) appliances and the SecurDVR(TM) for security and loss prevention.
“Barry’s a seasoned technology manager with a proven track record of developing successful products,” says Robert Heller, President and CEO of Merlin. “His appointment not only significantly strengthens our management team but also allows me to dedicate more of my time to managing other critical areas of the business.”

In his new position, Hagglund will lead a dedicated product development team focused on ensuring the company remains at the technological forefront of the network attached storage and security/loss prevention markets.
