Network-attached data access and content delivery solutions vendor Network Appliance(TM), Inc. today
announced that it received “Runs with Lotus Domino” certification from
Lotus(R) and is promoted in the Global Solutions Directory, a global
solutions showcase of all IBM(R) PartnerWorld(R) partner solutions.

The company says this
achievement reinforces Network Appliance’s ability to deliver simple,
easily deployable and manageable storage, backup, and recovery solutions
that perform exceptionally in data-intensive Lotus Notes(R) and Domino(TM)
environments.

“We are pleased Network Appliance received `Runs with Lotus Domino’
certification,” said Ken Bisconti, vice president, worldwide partner
organization, Lotus. “Lotus Domino customers can benefit from the high
performance and availability of NetApp(R) storage solutions which
complements Domino’s reliable enterprise communications solutions.”

In addition, Network Appliance and Lotus recently announced an enhanced
collaboration to offer highly available and scalable storage solutions
that can utilize NetApp Snap technology for rapid backup and recovery of
Lotus Domino server data. The NetApp F760 recently became the first
network-attached storage appliance to successfully complete a NotesBench
R5 benchmark. Network Appliance is extending its functionality by enabling
easy-to-use backup and rapid recovery functionality for Lotus Domino
Server.
