OTG Software, Inc., a provider of online data storage, data access and email management solutions, today announced the general availability of enhancements to EmailXtender(TM), its email management solution for Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino environments.
OTG Software said EmailXtender automatically captures email messages and their attachments from Exchange 5.5, and now Exchange 2000. The addition of Exchange 2000 support should aid users in migrating to the Exchange 2000 platform.
The company said administrators can migrate the bulk of their Exchange 5.5 message store to EmailXtender, minimizing the need to convert large databases of aged messages and attachments. It also combines aged Exchange 5.5 messages with new Exchange 2000 messages and allows users to run and access messages and attachments in a mixed platform environment.
