Quantum/ATL, a subsidiary of Quantum Corporation and supplier of intelligent DLTtape(TM) automation products for networked computers, today announced that Scott Maccabe has assumed the position of senior vice president, worldwide sales, marketing and service for Quantum/ATL. In that capacity, he will oversee Quantum/ATL’s global sales and marketing efforts, working with the company’s value added resellers (VARs), distributors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
“While the economic forecast for data protection remains strong, industry and market conditions continue to change, and we have to adapt to those changes to position the company for success,” said Kevin Daly, president and CEO of Quantum/ATL. “Scott will provide an integrated direction for all of our sales and marketing activity and we are confident that, under his leadership, the organization will address the challenges and opportunities ahead to ensure that all channels are effective for our products.”
