Mozilla Giving Firefox a New ‘Home’ on iPhone

Increasingly, developers of mobile apps are doing their best to replicate the best features of the desktop experience on wireless devices.

Count Mozilla among them. The open source organization is working on an app that aims to sync the settings of a user’s desktop Firefox browser with the native browser on the iPhone. Firefox Home, however, is not going to be a full-fledged Firefox iPhone app, which Mozilla has resisted developing owing to Apple’s application restrictions.
