IntraNet Solutions Inc., a provider of Web-based document management solutions, formed a technology and marketing partnership with Zuno Inc., a subsidiary of Zuno Ltd. in London.

Zuno is a provider of large-scale Internet electronic commerce software
solutions for publishers. The partnership will allow Zuno to develop a product that integrates IntraNet Solutions’ Intra.doc! Management System with Zuno’s Z-Commerce component software.

The resulting product will offer customers an affordable e-commerce solution
that has the ability to perform sophisticated search and retrieval, and manage and control access to content, the companies said, adding that they expect to make it available in the third quarter.

Zuno said it plans to market the new product to the thousands of small- and
medium-sized publishers that have yet to realize the benefits of making their
publications available on the Web, as well as those that want to electronic commerce-enable existing Web sites.

“IntraNet Solutions’ approach to managing content on the Web fits perfectly
with our e-commerce solutions,” said Mark Ketzler, general manager for
Waltham, MA-based Zuno Inc. “Our partnership with IntraNet Solutions will
enable us to deliver an integrated content management and e-commerce solution
with the flexibility and simplicity publishers and information providers
require.”

The technology agreement will also benefit IntraNet Solutions’ customers who
need to e-commerce-enable their content and profit by selling it on
the Internet, the Minnesota-based company said.
