[Toronto, CANADA] CANOE and Flex Logistics have forged an
ambitious strategic alliance in which Flex Logistics will provide

equity position in Flex.
CANOE is a major Canadian news and information Web site with over 100
million page views, and more than 5.3 million unique visitors per
month. Since its launch, just over four years ago, CANOE has grown
into one of the the most comprehensive online networks of content and
products offered in Canada.
SHOP.CANOE, the e-commerce initiative from CANOE is due to launch
this fall.
“This strategic alliance with Flex will complete our e-commerce
strategy and is a natural fit for our customers,” said Andre C.
Mainville, CANOE vice president of e-commerce.
CANOE, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quebecor, the largest commercial
printer in the world, required a solution to assist its SHOP.CANOE

“The challenge was to come up with a turnkey value proposition for
both Canadian retailers wanting to optimize e-commerce in Canada and
for American retailers that want an efficient and easy point of entry
for online sales and distribution in Canada.”
Since its launch in 1996, CANOE has been a leader in Canada’s new
media industry, experiencing exponential traffic growth and winning
numerous awards. Its online environment has been evolving constantly
to meet the perceived needs and interests of its audience, providing
a broad range of content for a broad range of user ages and
lifestyles.
CANOE’s nationally branded products include SLAM! Sports, JAM!
Showbiz, CANOE MONEY, CNEWS, C-Health, AUTONET.CA, Lifewise, and
