Copernic Introduces Copernic Aggregator

[Quebec City, CANADA] Copernic.com has announced
Copernic Aggregator, a new
information management platform for businesses.

Copernic Aggregator is a powerful, flexible information management
platform. With the system, companies can, from one location,
aggregate and integrate search results from scores of information
sources simultaneously from the Internet, intranets, and extranets.

The actual unveiling of the product will take place in October at the
Electronic Commerce World 2000 show in Orlando.

“Increasingly, companies are seeking search tools totally adapted to
their context and needs. Our new solution, Copernic Aggregator, is
designed precisely with this problem in mind,” said Martin Bouchard,
Copernic president and chief executive officer.

For businesses, this system offers the most efficient means to obtain
the right information as fast as possible. This new product is
particularly aimed at companies operating intranets and vertical
portals.

Along with the new product, Copernic.com is introducing a new data
definition language known as ISDL (Information Source Definition
Language), which allows the addition of any type or source of data to
Copernic Aggregator.

Also, administrative tools provided with the platform allow the
creation of groups and user profiles to customize each search
experience. To make the system easier to use, the program
administrator can completely modify the appearance of screens and
windows for end users.

Copernic.com develops innovative search solutions based on
intelligent agent technology. The solutions process can efficiently
manage the overwhelming quantity of information available on the
Internet and intranets.

The company’s flagship product, Copernic 2000, is regarded as a
leading Internet search software and is used by customers worldwide.
