[Toronto, CANADA] – Ericsson Canada has selected ProCure.com‘s Net*Order product for e-commerce transactions through the Ericsson site. Unlike traditional e-commerce solutions, Net*Order is hosted and managed by ProCure.com, while allowing for online order processing through integration to Ericsson’s financial and fulfillment systems.

Net*Order is one of a family of hosted services that make up ProCure.com’s managed e-business service provider offering, which is primarily targeted at the supplier-enablement market. The decision to outsource the order management functions to ProCure.com was based on ProCure.com’s development of order-urgent solutions. Using the ProCure.com solution, Ericsson customers can browse the phone accessories online catalogue and order products in a secure environment.

“ProCure.com seemed an obvious choice for us,” said Cam Thomson, manager of marketing communications, Ericsson Canada. He continued that they are recognized in the market as a leading provider of managed e-business services, so Ericsson knew ProCure.com could manage the online order process, from the submission of a customer order to the point of fulfillment.

Ericsson Canada Inc., a subsidiary of LM Ericsson, Sweden, serves the Canadian market by providing wireless systems and solutions, mobile phones, IP and data systems and solutions (including e-commerce, e-crm, and Internet multimedia) and consulting services.

ProCure.com provides hosted supplier-enablement solutions for companies wanting to sell into digital supply chains and online marketplaces. ProCure.com’s family of hosted applications, Net*Order, Net*Track and Net*eXchange, allows suppliers to sell into the fragmented set of online and traditional procurement standards with a single integration to ProCure.com.
