N2K Forms Music Boulevard Network Division

N2K Inc. in New York City said it changed the name of its online music division from N2K Entertainment to the Music Boulevard Network to better reflect its breadth of online content, community, and commerce.

The Music Boulevard Network is made up of the online store Music Boulevard and its music genre
channels: Rocktropolis.com, JazzCentralStation.com, ClassicalInsites.com, and
the star sites including DavidBowie.com, StonesWorld.com,
LeonardBernstein.com, MilesDavis.com, and WyntonMarsalis.com.

The network’s distribution partners include America Online, Netscape, Excite,
MTV/VH1, WebTV, @Home, and CBS Cable’s TNN, CMT, and country.com.

J.J. Rosen, formerly senior vice president/general manager of N2K
Entertainment, was named president of the Music Boulevard Network. Rosen will
oversee day-to-day operations for the online division, including integrating
content, community, and commerce for the Network’s sites and its partners,
establishing new alliances, and managing continued international expansion.

“We feel that this name change more accurately reflects our position as a complete turn-key music solution for both our customers and strategic partners,” said Rosen.
