TECSYS Signs E-Commerce Deal with U.S. Wolesale Distributor

TECSYS Inc., a
provider of e-commerce-based distribution management software services,
signed a contract for its e-commerce fulfillment and distribution
software with a major wholesale distributor of candy, grocery products
and other consumer packaged goods and specialty products in the United
States.

The new customer purchased the TECSYS suite of e-commerce fulfillment,
distribution and warehouse management products and services. The new
customer which has distribution centers in Massachusetts, Rhode Island,
New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey.

TECSYS’ e-commerce fulfillment solution, Elite.eCom, is tightly
integrated to the company’s back-end system that includes the complete
distribution suite of order management, warehouse management,
procurement, financial management, and executive information system.

Peter Brereton, TECSYS president and CEO said that unlike single form
Web page order entry systems, their offering allows customers to manage
high volume orders from end to end.

Clients include Sprint/North Supply, Shoppers Drug Mart, Uni-Silect,
Steiner Electric, SP Richards — a division of Genuine Parts Corp., Cord
Logistics — a Division of Cardinal Health, and Caliber Logistics.
