    SUNNYVALE, Oct. 10–CacheFlow , a provider
    of content intelligent networking solutions, announced it has signed a
    definitive agreement to acquire privately-held Entera. Based in
    Fremont, California, Entera is a
    leading provider of standards-based streaming content distribution and
    management technologies. The combined company offerings will allow service
    providers and enterprises to unleash the power of live and on-demand
    Internet streaming video and audio content, driving new revenue
    opportunities and enhancing communications with employees, business
    partners and customers. Under the terms of the agreement, CacheFlow common stock with an
    aggregate value of approximately $440 million will be exchanged for all
    outstanding shares and options of Entera.

    it has signed a preliminary agreement to be acquired by Vsource
    for a consideration of $7 million to be paid in Vsource
    Stock. Online Transaction Technologies
    is an Internet exchange service provider specializing in development,
    operation and maintenance of trading exchanges supporting the full range of
    B2B e-business protocols, including RRP/Qs, auctions, reverse auctions and
    catalogs, while Vsource headquartered
    in Ventura, California, provides the first transaction-based, pure-Internet
    solution for e-procurement.

    announced that it has acquired majority interest in
    RealMotorcycles.com, an Internet retailer of aftermarket motorcycle
    parts, accessories and apparel in the multi-billion dollar U.S. motorcycle
    industry. RealMotorcycles.com
    also has a unique after-market auction feature that allows the purchase and
    sale of various custom-built motorcycles which have flourished in the
    growing secondary market over the past few years. Details of the

    WATERTOWN, Mass., Oct. 10–HighWired.com, an online network
    of high schools, announced the acquisition of Gradfinder.com, a
    500,000-member alumni community created to provide high school graduates
    with a way to stay connected to friends via the Internet. The Gradfinder.com deal effectively
    expands HighWired.com’s community
    beyond the boundaries of the four-year high school experience and provides
    the more than 10.5 million students in its network with an easy way to
    maintain friendships and stay connected to their high school after their
    graduation ceremonies. The acquisition is a key element in HighWired.com’s
    strategy to be the most highly trafficked high school focused media network

    Intent has been signed to acquire closely held Novel Products, owner
    of The Amazing Instant Novelist site on America Online and the Web, a
    popular site for writers since its launch on AOL in 1995. The acquisition
    gives eNovel access to AOL’s 26 million
    members through the Instant
    Novelist’s
    placement on AOL at keyword novel. The purchase will

    SACRAMENTO, Oct. 10–PatentCafe.com, an intellectual property
    portal, announces an agreement to acquire FeeBid.com, the Internet’s
    intellectual property legal services marketplace. FeeBid.com gives PatentCafe.com a key syndication
    service that will allow corporate patent attorneys and technology managers
    to better manage projects contracted to outside intellectual property
    attorneys. FeeBid.com becomes PatentCafe’s seventh IP Web property
    acquisition and is the latest addition to PatentCafe.com’s ground-breaking
