software, announced an agreement to acquire Janna Systems, a
provider of e-business solutions for the financial services industry. Siebel Systems intends to integrate Janna’s technology into its e-business
applications, thereby enhancing solutions for financial services

CHICAGO, Sept 11–Internet business services firm Diamond
Technology Partners said it would buy European
consulting firm Cluster Consulting for $930 million, expanding
Diamond’s reach into wireless consulting and strategies. Diamond is expected to pay $44 million
in cash, plus 13.9 million shares and options for class B common shares for
Cluster, totalling $930
million. The combined company will be called DiamondCluster International
Inc.
