    ATLANTA, Sept. 22–S1 Corporation , a
    global provider of e-finance solutions and services, announced that it has
    agreed to acquire Level Next of Colorado Springs, Colorado, to
    further broaden S1’s support of
    international trade finance. As a developer and distributor of global trade
    banking systems, Level Next has vast
    experience in providing trade finance solutions to many of the world’s
    largest and most successful financial institutions and will enable S1 to
    deliver the first integrated cash and trade finance system. Terms of the
    transaction were not disclosed.

    TORONTO, Sept. 22–Thinkpath , a provider
    of skills management solutions, announced it has signed a letter of intent
    to acquire TidalBeach, a Toronto-based Web development company. As
    part of the deal, Thinkpath also
    acquires Skillset, a wholly-owned division of TidalBeach that offers Microsoft
    training. TidalBeach will expand Thinkpath’s already strong presence in the
    project outsourcing business by offering complete Web development
    capabilities. Details of the all-stock acquisition were not disclosed.
