Australian firm Western Civilisation released Style Master 1.0, a new cascading style sheet editor for the Macintosh.
It is made to give Webmasters the facility for creating and editing style sheets that will work every time with
targeted browsers.
One of Style Master’s key features is its online help, designed to guide inexperienced users through the pitfalls of working with style sheets. Among the difficulties normally facing designers is the fact that some browsers supports style sheets only partially. Style Master warns when particular
properties or selectors may cause problems, the company said.
Other features of Style Master are its point and click interface, its preview facilities, and its ability to integrate a style sheet quickly into a site, either by linking from or embedding in the HTML documents.
Style Master comes with a complete cascading style sheets tutorial:
“Everything You Ever Needed to Know About Style.” A free demonstrator is
available, and users may register for the full version, costing US$29.
