San Francisco-based Abele Owners’ Network, a national listing
service of homes For Sale By Owner (FSBO), signed a distribution agreement
with Yahoo!


Homeowners who advertise their property for sale on owners.com will
automatically receive free exposure through Yahoo! Classifieds. Financial terms
were not disclosed.


Home buyers visiting Yahoo! Classifieds can click on owners.com property for
detailed information on mortgages, community reports (crime, school, and
environmental reports), a searchable real estate law dictionary, and other
features.


“The relationship with Yahoo! underscores our continued commitment to
providing a one-stop marketing solution for our customers, making their
home buying experience easier, faster and ultimately more cost-effective,”
said Hans Koch, CEO of Abele Owners’ Network.


Abele Owners’ Network is a trademark and service of Abele Information Systems
Inc. that currently represents more than 35,000 properties in all 50 states.
Homeowners can post their property for sale without a commission, and can add
maps, details, and color photographs to their listings. An Owners’ Network
“Premier” listing is priced at $115 for four months. Homeowners without
Internet access may call 1-800-273-7322 to have a listing form sent to them.
