Deborah Stymest has joined the Yellow Pages Integrated Media Association as VP of marketing and business development. She replaces Ken Clark, who is leaving to pursue other interests, the organization said.

Stymest previously served as director of advertising for AT&T Wireless Services, prior to which she was a marketing consultant to Fuji Film U.S.A., International Wool Secretariat and AT&T Wireless.

“Ms. Stymest has a dynamic, successful background in the fields of marketing and advertising, as well as extensive knowledge of the Yellow Pages industry,” said Neg Norton, Yellow Pages I.M.A.’s president.

Stymest will be based at Yellow Pages I.M.A.’s headquarters in Berkeley Heights, N.J.

Interactive marketing firm RareMethod Capital elected Tom Short, Curtis Westersund and Kim Wong to its board of directors. Gary Grab resigned as a director, effective immediately.

Short is a senior manager and strategist with RareMethod. He was a co-founder and president of Idea Machine prior to its merger with RareMethod in June 2003. Westersund is a dental marketer, and Wong is president and director of Catapult Capital Corp., a personal investment company.

24/7 Real Media’s search engine marketing unit has entered a deal to deploy Terra Lycos’ InSite AdBuyer program.

24/7 Search advertisers will benefit from exposure on search results pages and targeted content across the Lycos Network, which includes Lycos, HotBot, SideSearch, Tripod, Angelfire and Gamesville. 24/7 Search will provide InSite Adbuyer with XML paid inclusion feeds, pay-for-placement positioning tools, and human editorial reviews to maximize relevancy.

“With Lycos’ AdBuyer we have added another excellent traffic source for our advertisers, allowing us to tap into tier-one quality site visitors,” said Mark Brown, SVP of 24/7 Search.
