E-marketing firm IMN — formerly iMakeNews — has named Tom Simons chairman of the board. Simons is president and creative director of PARTNERS+simons, a large integrated agency in New England. He has served on IMN’s board since 2002.
“We are very excited to have Tom Simons contributing his business acumen and creativity to IMN,” said IMN CEO Kathleen Goodwin.
Coremetrics has added six retail sites to its client roster, including Ashford.com, Diamond.com, Leaps and Bounds, One Step Ahead, Select Comfort and WorldofWatches.com.
“Coremetrics offers a dedicated account executive that is highly involved and spends the time to understand our business objectives,” said Rachel Pendon, Internet marketing manager for Chelsea and Scott, parent to One Step Ahead and Leaps and Bounds.
Quigo Technologies, a search engine marketing developer, hired David Jakubowski to lead sales for its AdSonar contextual ad serving technology. Jakubowski left a position as VP of business development at United Online, where he handled ad sales, business development and client management.
“The addition of a seasoned sales executive like David is an indication that Quigo’s AdSonar contextual advertising technology is mature and ready for broader market penetration,” said Quigo CEO Michael Yavonditte.
In August, Quigo struck a licensing deal with Overture for its AdSonar technology.
