Sprinks, a pay-per-click ad vehicle and division of About Inc., has signed an agreement with MarketWatch.com to provide content-targeted ads across its flagship CBS MarketWatch site and e-mail newsletter properties.
Under the deal, MarketWatch.com will integrate two of Sprinks’ pay-per-click ad solutions — ContentSprinks and DirectSprinks — into its Web site, e-mail newsletters and investor tools.
“Sprinks’ offerings demonstrate a unique expertise in maintaining a consistent balance between editorial and relevant advertising,” said Bill Bishop, executive VP and general manager of MarketWatch.com. “Throughout the initial test period, Sprinks delivered targeted ads that were consistently relevant to our content.”
Integrated marketing firm boede&partners has been named agency of record for NeuBond, a supplier of enhanced voice services technology for ISPs, wireless providers, portals and ASPs. The agency will help launch NeuBond’s services into the telecommunications marketplace and later design and deploy an initial marketing launch program for NeuBond services based on the research results.
The companies said the engagement would involve interactive duties, but did not specify the extent of NeuBond’s interest in marketing via the online medium.

Patricia Costello has been named senior VP of strategy and brand planning at GlobalWorks Group, the full-service multicultural branding and ad agency.
Costello is the former VP of brand planning at Rapp Collins Worldwide, where she worked on accounts such as Pfizer, New Power and Delta Airlines. She was earlier director of marketing at Cyrk Integrated Marketing Solutions, focused on First USA, British Airways and MasterCard.

American Lawyer Media (ALM) has completed a redesign of its law.com network of Web sites for legal pros. ALM now provides access to all its legal news and information resources through one centralized Web site, and will introduce new, branded sites for ALM’s national and regional legal publications over the remainder of the year. The new sites will include CorpCounsel.com, LawTechNews.com, VerdictSearch.com and LawJobs.com.
Additionally, law.com’s daily e-mail news alert, has been expanded and redesigned to present each day’s top legal stories and analysis from ALM publications in a more readable format.
