Agency.com COO Don Scales has been promoted to president of the company. Scales has been with Agency.com since February 2001, prior to which he was CEO at eJiva, a division of Igate Capital, and senior VP of worldwide professional services at Exe Technologies.

E-mail marketer Quris has named Michael Raneri to its board of directors. Raneri is senior VP of advice product and tools at Charles Schwab & Company. He brings 14 years of experience in developing electronic communication technologies.

Online publisher Cygnus Interactive has signed a three-year deal to make 24/7 Real Media’s Open AdStream Local its exclusive ad serving solution. Cygnus said the choice was motivated by Open AdStream Local’s ability to serve a high volume of advertising, as well as to conform to the publisher’s client-centric approach.

Juxt Interactive has launched a new Web site for Bandai America’s Jagun Fighters action figure toy line. The Web presence recounts the legend of the Jagun Warriors, explains how the game is played, and introduces users to each Jagun character. Juxt used Flash MX to create what it describes as an immersive experience in the world of Jagun, with interactive storytelling and character animation.
