24/7 Real Media has been tapped by Online Travel Company to sell advertising, sponsorship and e-mail on its recently acquired Ifyoutravel sites. The “If You” properties include Europe’s popular ifyouski skiing site, as well as ifyougolf and ifyoudive.

With this appointment, Real Media will sell across the entire suite of consumer travel sites owned and operated by OTC. The deal follows a two year period during which Real Media has sold advertising on OTC’s flagship site onlinetravel.com. 24/7 Real Media’s proprietary ad serving technology, Open AdStream, will be used to deliver advertising to these sites.

OTC General Manager John Bevan said, “By consolidating our sales activity, Real Media will be able to offer potential advertisers the chance to reach an unrivalled audience, both in terms of size and diversity.”

Interactive marketing agency Sharpe Partners has named Ed Morris its first chief financial officer. From 1995 to 2000, Morris was vice president and CFO at Castor Advertising. While there, he implemented technologies, opened the firm’s Miami office, negotiated client compensation deals, and handled mergers. Additionally, Morris ran day-to-day operations for the New York office. He has also worked for Dentsu, Young & Rubicam and Grey Advertising.

Sharpe said it had decided to appoint a CFO after winning new business from Minute Maid and FujifilmDigital.

Tommy Hilfiger USA has relaunched its site with help from Organic’s New York office. The new online presence is intended to improve the user experience while positioning the company as a global lifestyle brand.

New elements include scheduled chat sessions with models, designers and other fashion personalities at CLUBtommy, the members-only fan club. The site will also include “stylescopes,” which are basically fashion horoscopes, and a feature called eShots that provides photos of attendees at Hilfiger-sponsored events. These pictures can be retrieved directly from the site.

Additional changes to the site include a more frequently updated homepage, a news section, contests, information about Tommy Hilfiger retail channels, and a help section.
