The T&O Group, a Southern California interactive ad and PR agency, has promoted Thomas Choi to associate media director and hired two media planners, Courtney Kasey and Marisa Reveles.

Choi joined The T&O Group in 1999 as senior media planner. Since then, he has won two creative media awards from Worldwide Partners on behalf of the agency. Major accounts Choi has managed include Fantastic Sams, California Association of Realtors and American Racing Wheels.

“Thomas has been a valuable asset to our clients from a media planning perspective, but just as importantly, as a true strategic business resource,” said Dave Robinson, president of The T&O Group. “He has been a key driver in our quest to consistently upgrade the thinking and sophistication of our media approach.”

Kasey and Reveles both join the agency from Foote, Cone & Belding. Kasey worked on accounts including Kawasaki and Hilton Hotels, and Reveles handled the company’s Taco Bell business.

Interep Interactive’s Winstar Interactive Media will represent The Dr. Spock Company for national online ad sales, supplementing Dr. Spock’s internal sales efforts for its Web site.

“We have built a worldwide base of loyalty to our brand and believe Winstar can connect the Dr. Spock brand with advertisers who wish to reach a large, captive audience of parents,” said John Buckley, chief financial officer for the baby and child care content provider.

DrSpock.com publishes articles and answers to parents’ questions in an online-community environment, covering every stage of pregnancy and childhood, from newborns to teens.

“Millions of babies were raised on Dr. Spock,” says Interep Interactive President Adam Guild. “With traffic ranging up to 1 million unique visitors each month, advertisers will get a huge bounce by associating with this most trusted name in parenting.”

Classmates Online has renewed its use of 24/7 Real Media’s Open AdStream ad management product. The networking service, which has been an Open AdStream client since 1999, will use the technology for an additional three years.
